Before Green Gables..

I'm reading this Book right now.. By Budge Wilson..
It's the very sad story of Anne Shirley's life before she found a place to fit in and a bosom friend..
I really enjoyed meeting her parents.. They were very special people.. and wish somehow Anne could have grown up with them..
Haven't finished it yet but I'm really enjoying it..
So to any out there Anne-lovers I recommend this book.. :)

Me and Beth went to the new Whimsy the other day..
It was terribly cute. If you need a notebook or journel of any kind I would suggest you go there.. :) upstairs had a little bit of clothes.. Saw a really cute but expensive white trench coat!! :)

Brothers..

I love little brothers.. :) I have three and I wouldn't trade them for anything..
They sure keep us busy and entertained..
Shaved eyebrows, biking into a parked truck, getting a moth stuck in his ear, getting a rake stuck on his foot, knocking teeth out on a trampoline, coffee beans up the nose etc etc etc...
Tried to do a little bit of a photo shoot... they didn't want to poise long.. They rather be playing!! lol
So first.. everyone look down! kidding.. I just snapped that when the dog came over.. L t R- Taylor, Nathan, David...

A Gentle Reminder...

Last week a Gentlemen and his coworkers were in Bobbys.. They were all very nice-office type people.. ;)
When He came up to pay he asked about my covering...
There is a few different reasons why I wear it... :)
Num. 1 is because I take 1 Cor. 11 literally..
Num. 2 It shows my submission to God's authority and His order of headship.
Okay so I'm stopping the list there for this post.. Maybe I'll do an official post sometime.. :)
But the He started telling me this story about a guy he knows who's called-humble Dan.. Even though he isn't a bit humble.
He said humble Dan told me how his Boss called him Humble Dan as a reminder to be humble. So He figured that it made sense to wear my covering because it would remind me I'm under God's authority.
Wow.. So some guy who isn't even a Christian is telling me this..! Amazing!
Love when God sends me little nudges.. :) I had never thought of it like that. Always figured it was an outward sign to show "other" people-not so much to actually remind me!!!
I'm thinking of it as identifying me as God's little princess!! :)
